Here we go again . . .

Well, here we are again. Only this time I should have more direct involvement in posting what's going on. My intent this time around is more for keeping people up to date in what's going on with the whole family and not just me. I will be able to give some insight into what I do on a daily basis, but it may be limited because there are too many details that are better left of of the net for bad guys to find.

Just to let all of you know, over Christmas Stacy and I put an offer on a house in Louisville, KY and after quite a bit of negotiating, we got the house. We'll be closing on it in the last week of Feb. We are both very excited about it. It's to bad it'll be a year before I'll be able to stay in it. But, it will be a nice home to come home to. Pictures to follow.

Stacy started her job back in Louisville a couple of weeks ago. She was fortunate to get to go back to the same hospital system she was with before and will be working 3 days a week. Graham gets to spend the day with Grandma Wolter and Stacy gets some time to get her brain working again. Good deal for everyone.

We had movers come this week and got the house packed up. It's pretty barren in here now. They will be picking up next week to take everything to the new house. Then we just have to clear housing. Should be fun.

Well, I'm going to go over to one of our neighbors for some food. Tasty, tasty.

Howdy
Just wanted to let everyone know that Matt started his OCS class today. He will have email access via his army "ako" account, Im sure he'll be getting emails out when he has the chance but once I have the address I will post it. He's snail mail address is

Short term address

Hey all
Here is an address for Matt for the very short term..basically I would not use it beyond next Wed (the 20th). I will let you know as soon as we have Matt's address for 25 Sept till 11 Jan.
Hopefully we'll have some graduation photos soon too.

Hi!

Sorry that I have been MIA from posting info on Matt...life for me has been very crazy the last few weeks.
..my tech at work was hit by a pick-up truck and seriously injured, so with one pharmacist out on maternity leave and Rita now finally home from the trauma ward, work as been rough, my excuses continue with my home computer taking a dive, the start of school and some large household projects that need attention for Matt and I to be ready to sell the house...but this isn't my journal....

Matt has been very well lately, despite some continued confusion over his follow on school dates. He will graduate from basic on Sept 8th and also be promoted to E5 on the same day. I will be heading down on the 6th after work to attend the graduation festivites and to then drive Matt to FT Benning where OCS will occur. I would not mail anything to Matt at FT Jackson after this coming Wed. (the 30th). If you like feel free to send things here....3410 Warner Ave Louisville, KY 40207. If I get them on or before the 5th, I will take them to Matt otherwise I will forward them once we have contact info for FT Benning.

I just got a 1min phone call w/ Matt, his company will be heading out at 0130 for a week long FTX, but he had some great news...he has won THE top solider award for his entire company! Now I have to dress up and sit behind some General at graduation...it will take some time to forgive him :)...

I hope everyone is well and has gotten some news from Matt himself.

Back from France

Got a great picture of Floyd going by us in Paris, hopefully his name can be cleared and that he really didn't do anything wrong.



















Stacy, not sure how much you have written to him about what is going on. I am holding out sending anything until all the dust settles, he picked a great year to not be around to discuss.

We did get a card from him, much of the same info that you had in the cleaned up post that you recently put up. Hope to hear more from him soon.
